Green Cape in Le Bois

Another shoot, Marina in Le Bois de Vincennes.
Darker than dear Florie...and those images are up next.
Went out with the girls tonight. If you are ever in the 5th, check out Finnegans Wake or La Taverna de Kerrigan's. Good 'ole Irish pubs in the French world.

To My Sister

Thinking of You

I’m thinking of you
As you’re so far away
Where saving our lives
Is just part of your day

There’s so much you’ve done
For the people back home
We send love and our thanks
And hope you’re never alone

I cannot imagine
How hard it must be
To find courage to fight
When you just want to flee

I’m thinking of you
As you’re so far away
Where saving our lives
Is just part of your day

You work day to day
Putting your life on the line
Without a complaint,
A refusal or whine

There are things that you’ve been through
That we do not see
So we cannot comprehend
How hard it must be

I’m thinking of you
As you’re so far away
Where saving our lives
Is just part of your day

This poem’s for the soldiers
All the way up through the ranks
As you’re all in my prayers
I send my love and my thanks

Family Fix

An odd collection of black and whites that I took over the summer.
They keep me smiling. I miss you all so much.
Can't wait to see you again.
To add more photos.
And more smiles.
Love

New York is the place of opportunities...

I bought my ticket.
Paris to NYC via Iceland. I actually wasn't planning on buying my ticket last night. I was just scouting the prices and came across one so cheap that I had to buy it.
It's official. I'm flying out of Paris November 22nd.
In NYC I'm going to continue my scout with the eyes of a soon-to-be resident, meet up with some of my peeples and then head back to the Midwest to "get my poop in a group" as my offbeat father would say.
And now a little Ducksauce to get me pumped for the day.

bisous bisous bisous

The Nanny Chronicles

Meet B and LR. They are my current charges. They are Irish French...can't you tell :)

I love this image on the right of B because it looks like he's wearing antlers and he's so anxious for me to put the camera down and swing him around.

I'm already too attached. They are just so dang cute.
