The Johnsons Wedding

I am so lucky that Samantha persistently asked me to shoot this gorgeous wedding. She broke me of my knee jerk reaction to decline. I never wanted to shoot weddings. I used to say it's like making the movie of a book your audience has memorized, it will never be what they expected. However, sometimes it can be what you never expected and love anew. I had a fantastic time and they are so easy to photograph. Just look at those smiles! So happy!

I need a room in my future house like the room in the Hotel Chevalier. There aren't any good pictures of it so you'll just have to watch The Darjeeling Limited. It is one of my favorites.

I find that inspiration for blogging pokes me in the side every five minutes because that is about how often I think of posting a link or a pic to a friend across the country. I can't keep up with all the things I want to share with them.

Long distance relationships are SO not ideal :)

These caught my eye because there is one in SEATTLE, Skillet a little food to fill your tummy. This looks like a Laurie Pearman photo to me.

PORTLAND, Tin Cantina a portable bar...I LOVE THIS PHOTO....put a little color shift to anything and I guess I love it...this reminds me of the redwoods...miss them.

Heather and I went gallivanting about the great Land of Lincoln this weekend. It was fantastic! We BBQ'd and 4 wheeled, congratulated a graduate and visited the French Consulate. And all the while I had my camera and I didn't use it once, the only photo I took, while my camera was conveniently MIA, was with my phone...it was the most peaceful, wonderfully inspiring sunset over a country field located in Heather's Aunt Kandy's backyard. How lucky is she!

I also feel motivated to upload more Heather photos for fun...





And a Luna photo because I miss her like crazy and she's coming to visit which makes the craziness crazier.

I offered Adam a piece of cheese and I ate a hardboiled egg.
While salting my egg over the sink, I turn to Adam and ask him how his piece of cheese is.
He answers delicious and asks me how my egg is.
